We had a great week, but the best thing was going to the Art Gallery. It was so much fun. We saw so many of the paintings that we had talked about in class. In science we did an experiment with friction. Each group put weights in a small box that had an elastic at the end of it. We pulled the elastic and measured it as we were pulling the weights. Then we put straws under the boxes and pulled and measured the elastic again. The box was a lot easier to pull with the reduced friction. In Math we have been talking about reflections, translations and rotations (flips, slides and turns). In Language we've been writing about our favourite books and explaining to others why we like them so much. We finished up our posters for the Art Sale. We are really looking forward to our Art Sale next week. Have a great weekend.
