We started EQAO this week and so far we think we are doing well. Mme. Wiggins' grade 6 class has been helping us with rehearsing our plant play. We will be sharing our plant play with the Kindergarten, Grade 1 and 2 classes in a couple of weeks. Almost everyone has performed their dance in gym. Everyone was amazing. Mrs. Aubrey told us that she is moving to another school in September. Have a great weekend and we will check in with you again next week.

Hi, I am going to tell you about our short but fun week! First for gym an instructor Alex gave us a tennis lesson on the forehand and the backhand. Last Friday we planted our pea plants. Some of them are tall and some are small. Also we read this funny book called Tops and Bottoms and the main characters are a bear and a hare. I recommend reading this book. Thank you for listening. Hey guys this week was crazy good lots of warm weather am I right. We started making diagrams of our peas they are growing like to fast too keep updates! We have finished grade 3 math already and it is only May. We are really prepared for EQAO all because of our AWESOME GREAT teacher Mrs. Aubrey. We had a lockdown this week and it was LONG! We made props with the grade 6 class for our play about plants and from what we saw it looked fun! For gym a tennis club came in to the school to give tennis lessons. We learned about the Venus Flytrap. It can eat live animals Wow! We also talked about antonyms they are opposites of a word. In gym we have been making up dance routines. by Colin Here are some of the things that we did this week:
Our class had an Art Sale on Wednesday, May 6th. We read the book "The Dot" back in September and it inspired us to have an Art Sale. We knew that we were going to donate the money that we raised but we hadn't decided where we would be sending the money. During Lent we read the book, "Beatrice's Goat". In the story a young girl's life is changed when her family receives the donation of a goat. Having the goat makes Beatrice's dream come true; she finally has enough money to go to school! Shortly after we read the story Father Francis came in to visit our class and tell us a little bit about his village of Kumbo, Cameroon. Father Francis told us that he had seen many lives in his village changed for the better when a family gets the gift of a goat. That was it for us! We decided right then and there to donate the money we raised from the Art Show to buy a goat for a family.
